This cylindrical grinding concept has been developed for the high productivity requirements of mass-production.
PS machines are tailored to the individual applications, but as opposed to special purpose machines, are also suitable per CNC programming to machine entire workpiece families. Workpiece recognition systems actuate automatic change-overs and call up the relevant programs. The main fields of application are transmission parts, motor parts, turbo-charger shafts, automotive parts, differential housings and other parts that are machined in large batch sizes.
