A99e and A100e MAKINO horizontal machining centers
The A99e and A100e horizontal machining centers have been developed to machine automotive engine blocks and medium- to large-size parts for general industrial use with high efficiency for substantially improved productivity. Fitted with a high-speed spindle and high-speed feed axes as standard equipment, the A99e and A100e provide high-speed machining on a par with small and medium-size machining centers.
Fastest cutting feed in their class
Large parts are machined at high speed and with exacting accuracy, thanks to a top cutting feed of 50 mm/min and GI control that prevents deterioration of shape accuracy in high-speed machining.
In addition, the ball screws of the feed axes adopt a core cooling system to maintain high accuracy during continuous high-speed machining.
Standerd high-speed 10,000 min-1 No.50 taper spindle
The spindle features Makino's field-proven spindle core cooling and under race lubrication system and a high-performance spindle lubricant temperature controller. These advanced features minimize spindle thermal deformation and vibration during continuous high-speed operation to deliver high-quality surface finishes and extend tool life.
Quick, efficient chip removal
Large volumes of chips produced during high-speed machining are removed from the machine quickly and efficiently by a central trough system.
Highly rigid bed
A highly rigid bed allows the use of a three-point support system that simplifies leveling and other maintenance work and makes it easy to move the machine to another location in the shop.
